ISCA Weekly Meeting Meals

Each week ISCA's meeting begins with a Fellowship Meal. These meals are provided by local churches, friends and community groups. To sign up to bring a meal go to: http://www.TakeThemAMeal.com/meals.php?t=HWOJ9748

Thank you so much for volunteering your group to bring a meal to the weekly ISCA meeting. Our meetings are on Tuesday night from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. We eat the meal at 6:30 PM.

Every Tuesday international students and friends gather together at the ISCA house, 89 South Duncan Ave for a meal and then worship and a meeting. The meal is an important hospitality act during the meeting. It gives time for people to relax and visit and have great conversation.

We ask our meal providers to provide a meal that will feed everyone nicely. This meal includes a main dish, any sides that you would like to provide, drinks, and a dessert (we have the dessert at the end of the meeting). ISCA will provide the plates, bowls, cups, and silverware.

We have many students who come who are not Christians so we try to avoid pork at all times and beef if we can. If you have meat in the meal, please provide some sort of vegetarian option for those in our group who do not eat meat (some for religious reasons and some for personal reasons). We usually have a very small number of vegetarians (and sometimes none at all) so don’t worry too much about this. We try our best to accommodate everyone who comes so that the event will be fun for all.

Please check with the person who asked you to volunteer how many to prepare for as it can vary week to week (or feel free to email Kevin: kevin.smith@iscanwa.net).

Please have the meal at the ISCA house to be ready to serve by 6:00m- 6:15 PM If you have special needs please feel free to let us know.

You and your group are welcome to stay for the meal or any other part of the meeting. Of if you need to leave that is okay too – whatever is best for you.

Thank you again for partnering with us in the ministry to international students. If you have any questions please ask!

God Bless,

ISCA
